Wildflower Pilgrimage

Arc of Appalachia's 11th Annual Wildflower Pilgrimage--All day field trips to wildflower showcases; evening presentations featuring Olivia Carril, author of Bees in your Backyard: A Field Guide to North America's Bees, and Denise Ellsworth, Honeybee and Native Pollinator Education Director, OSU Bee Lab.

The ephemeral display of spring woodland flowers--all blooming at once--is as close to heaven one earth as any nature spectacle we can ever experience. Each year the Pilgrimage is timed to catch the region's showy showcase of iconic Large Flowered Trilliums, which bloom alongside cascading colonies of dozens of colorful native wildflower species. See you in the spring, among the flowers!
