Life in the Western Basin: an Earth Day Conversation

Black Swamp Conservancy presents “Life in the Western Basin: an Earth Day Conversation”.

Date: Wednesday, April 22nd

Time: 7:00 p.m.

Location: W.W. Knight Preserve, 29530 White Rd., Perrysburg

Spend the evening discussing our great local resource - Lake Erie and its watershed. Speakers include:

       Steve Pollick - retired outdoors editor of the Toledo Blade

       Cheryl Harner - environmental educator and advocate for conservation and land preservation

       Christine Mayer - Professor of Ecology, University of Toledo

Speaker presentations will be followed by questions from the audience and open discussion.

**Added to the program - get a sneak peek at nationally renowned nature photographer, Art Weber's upcoming exhibit "A Photographic Celebration of Our Great River, the Largest Watershed in the Great Lakes Basin". This new exhibit will be on display at The National Center for Nature Photography July 3 through September 27 - but you can view a few of the photos at our program!
